Cloud 9 in Australia

Cloud 9 officially launched it’s expansion into Australia last week at a press conference attended by over 300 people including Hon. Peter Beattie, Premier of Queensland.

Cloud 9’s expansion plans include a new distribution entity which will acquire product for export around the world. Cloud 9 will also be starting the Cloud 9 Screen Institute to mentor and nourish young creative talent – particularly writers (in liaison with the State’s Universities).

The Queen & I

An exciting motion picture called “The Queen & I” starts shooting in July 2005 and Cloud 9 will be involved. We’ll announce more details about this movie at a later date.

Tribe 6 and the Tribe Movie!

Tribe 6 and The Tribe Movie are progressing well and will be discussed with broadcasters at the MIP television festival in the South of France in Cannes. So look out! Tribe 6 should be hitting screens towards the end of 2004 or beginning of 2005!

Plus Tribe Series 1-5 are being acquired by more broadcasters around the world and the latest Series (5) is starting in a range of countries including Norway!

Cloud 9 is developing other new and exciting titles and so fans of The Tribe should keep a watch for information on new shows which will always be revealed first on our websites!

And don’t forget the tours! The next Tribe Tour is being planned and again details will be posted right here on Tribeworld when dates and more information is confirmed.

Animation

Cloud 9 will be opening an animation division of the company called “Dreamcloud” – this will bring all sorts of exciting new features to Cloud 9’s already impressive portfolio and details of Dreamcloud’s first production will be announced shortly.

Series 2 on DVD
The second series of the Tribe is due to be released as a DVD and VHS boxset soon. The graphics have been locked off and production of the discs, etc. will be taking place in the next couple of months.

We will let you know a release date as soon as we know it ourselves and will also let you know if it will be available in NTSC format for North America – we are doing our best and will address that issue with the distribution team.
