The scenes
This week there was one Parallel Day. Thursday saw two crews shooting at a Wellington Hotel/carpark rooftop, and the Hutt riverside – just a few minutes drive from the studios. All the other days the cast were inside the studio shooting. 68 scenes were shot last week, totalling 50 minutes of shooting time.
The locations
There was two days last week in which the cast and crew were on location, one being the same day as the Parallel day so was a busy one for all, and the other was Wednesday and filming took place in the Film Unit carpark (“on location” even though it is part of the Cloud 9 Studio area).
Make a start
The earliest crew call was 07.45am and this was for every day last week. The earliest call for our cast was 04.45am for Dwayne Cameron – BRAY!!!, (and five cast members all had pick-ups prior to 7am) for Friday, although they were only filming in the studio. The lucky cast member with the latest pick up this week was Vanessa Stacey- Alice with an 12.50am pickup.
Weather
Well what a weather week we had here last week!! There were some serious floods on Thursday with the Hutt River almost breaking its banks! BUT it didn`t hinder any shooting at all thanks to the weather man`s predictions!!
