Jodie meets Meryl at Starcity in Birmingham

Tuesday 29 January 2002

Went to Channel 5 HQ to do several interviews with journalists, including Just Seventeen magazine, US interviews and an interview for the Waitangi Day issue of the TNT (a New Zealand/Aussie paper).

Then we hotfooted it over to Picadilly Circus for lunch with the two Channel 5 competition winners who had designed a Tribal menu. We had lunch with them at the Rainforest Cafe and boy were we full up after our Mojo Ribs!

We had a great time with the winners and then we went to Sanctuary House to sign some books and postcards. Then back to the hotel!

Wednesday 30 January 2002

Went to an amazing hotel call the Sanderson. Supposedly Posh Spice and David Beckham stay there sometimes. It was really posh but very funky. We had several interviews there including Sugar magazine, TV Times and TV Hits.

Then back to the hotel for a photo shoot in Tribal gear with an Australian magazine called Southern Cross.

Nearing the end of the day so we decided to go out for a meal and a bit of a boogie at the Embassy Club, a very nice place and we all had a right good time.

Thursday 31 January 2002

Had a nice lie in before doing an interview at the hotel and then we went to Cannelot Studios where we sat in a recording booth. Twelve different radio stations then phoned in and conducted interviews for shows that go out all over the country.

We got back to the hotel around 5.00pm and then went out to dinner with the producer of the Tribe Album, John Williams at a vegetarian restaurant in Hammersmith called the Gate.

Back to the hotel and sat in the lounge before going to bed.
