The scenes

Thursday was the only Parallel Filming Day with units in both sides of the studio. Filming this day involved almost all of our major cast members so you can imagine how busy hair/makeup/ and wardrobe were. The final promotional event this week was an autograph signing at a Charity movie screening – “The Grinch that Stole Christmas” premier showing at the Embassy Theatre in Wellington.

48 scenes were shot last week, totaling 40 minutes of shooting time.

The locations

There was three location days last week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

– Monday the cast and crew were filming on a local street, exterior of the Cloud 9 studio, Cloud 9 Pool, Studio rooftop, Studio carpark.
– Tuesday the film crew were in the Studio carpark, and the studio.
– Wednesday the locations were a local waterski club, and two different farm areas.

Make a start

The earliest Crew Call was 6.15am on Wednesday for the outside location day. The earliest call for our cast was 04.55 for Damon Andrews – GUARDIAN and Jacob Tomuri – LUKE for the same locaiton day. The lucky cast members with the latest pick up this week Jacob Tomuri – LUKE for the final scene for filming on Friday 8th December with a 2.10pm pickup (of course on this day he did come in earlier for the special Cloud 9 Christmas lunch!)
