ITS OFFICIAL – Cloud 9 Children’s Foundation charity for the Hurricanes

The Cloud 9 Children’s Foundation was formed in September 2000 with the objective to help children in need. The specific focus is to raise the profile of Asperger Syndrome (form of autism) and help research and develop a support infrastructure for children affected by it.

Well the fantastic news this month is that the Cloud 9 Children’s Foundation is the official charity of the Wellington Hurricanes Super 12 Rugby team.

For those that are unaware, rugby is arguably the national sport of New Zealand. The Super 12 competition includes 12 rugby teams from around South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

The involvement of the Cloud 9 Children’s Foundation as an official charity for the Wellington Hurricanes (a hot favourite to win the tournament) will surely raise the profile significantly of it. The squad includes most players who were involved in the winning 2000 National Provincial Championship Wellington Lions Rugby team. Good Luck guys! The first game of the tournament is this weekend.
