What was your first memory?

Nick – Playing inside a broken tv with my neighbour in the long grass next door

What was your favourite toy as a child?

Nick – The trampoline

Any childhood illnesses or injuries?

Nick – Fell off a garage roof, broke both wrists and fractured my skull.

 

Any scars from childhood accidents?

Nick – Big scar on my knee from a waterslide accident.

Favourite birthday party?

Nick – My 21st – it was huge.

Favourite birthday cake?

Nick – Spiderman birthday cake

Favourite holiday as a child?

Nick – Omaha Beach, Northland, New Zealand

Favourite game as a child?

Nick – Mousetrap

Do you remember your first day at school?

Nick – Yes, caught up with some mates from Kindergarten.

Did you have many childhood parties?

Nick – Had a few good ones.

What did you like most about school?

Nick – Playing in the gorse at lunchtime.

What was your favourite piece of clothing as a child?

Nick – My velcro shorts

Who was your first crush?

Nick – I didn’t know her name. I was 6 and she was 10. She was blonde and ran around a lot.

Nick – History

At what age did you learn to swim?

Nick – Seven

Were you interested in sports?

Nick – Yes, I liked being active

What pocket money did you get and what did you have to do to get it?

Nick – I washed the card for $5.00

Did you ever have a crush on a teacher?

Nick – Yep, a pretty student teacher.

Nick – Acting on Shortland Street

Nick – Micky Mouse Club

Nick – The StarWars Story

Nick – Roadrunner.

 

What were your hobbies as a child?

Nick – Stamps and setting traps

What did you want to be when you grew up?

Nick – An Airforce pilot

 

The craziest thing you ever did as a child?

Nick – I rollerbladed to school down a very big steep road.
