Pre-Tribe Mysteries – TV News Broadcast

Over the next few ‘pre tribes’ we will be taking a look at the many mysteries surrounding the Tribe – from Pandorax, the virus, the antidote, and more! This week we take a look at the mystery and history surrounding the last TV News Broadcast explaining the virus and the mass evacuation procedures.

*Virus Outbreak!!*

TV NEWS BROADCAST

What is the broadcast announcing?

“Authorities are appealing for calm throughout the evacuation process. All children under the age of 18 years should report to their local sector for transportation. Priority will be given…to those children exposed to adults already contaminated.”

What does this mean?

The authorities are attempting to reduce the panic levels throughout the city obviously as a result of the outbreak of the virus and the attempt of people leaving the city for fear of contamination.

What most adults do realise is that they might not be able to survive themselves but their children can be saved. There is then an opportunity being given for all the children in the city to be transported to a safe area and an implication that they will be looked after there. BUT we know that it doesn’t end up like that.

Who is the broadcast aimed at?

The broadcast was on the international television channel and was a major newsflash to ensure that everyone in the cities would see it. A major catastrophe was taking place that was taking the lives of the adults and thus risking those of the children.

The broadcast was coordinated with the transport van traveling the streets with loudspeakers explaining the threat to the people.

Who is announcing?

The authorities decided to use a well known TV newsreader to read the official broadcast message to ensure maximum viewing. Since he had such a well known voice everyone perks their ears up and listens to what he has to say. This was crucial for such a major news broadcast.

What is the future for Tribeworld as a result of the broadcast?

The world as they knew it was about to drastically change. Life would never be the same again. Families were torn apart, children were abandoned, the city was left to rack and ruin, and life for the children left was to be filled with challenges and hardships.

The children, once leaving their old life, gathered into varying Tribes, all unique in their own way with different outlooks on life, but one main recurring theme of leadership in the new Tribeworld. Most Tribes were vying for this leadership as they saw it as a way to survive and live more comfortably in Tribeworld.

What was the future for the city upon the disappearance of the adults?

All would to be revealed as the Tribe evolved. How were the children to cope without the parents to guide their way? The little things in life we all take for granted were to become huge processes, for example, food, washing, shopping, education, rules, living together with others, general survival.

Next week we will look at the evacuation of the city as a result of the virus outbreak and the news broadcasts announcing the evacuation process.

Could it be that the virus was not really as a result of an attempt to stop the aging process? Perhaps it came from man’s exploration of space, OR a scientific experiment which went terribly wrong, OR was as a result of germ warfare???

There are other problems and threats in Tribeworld now which would be more important – Survival is still the name of the game.
